Commr. Windram presented, to the Board, a letter from Dr. June Murray naming those agencies who have expressed an interest in taking over the responsibility of sponsoring the proposed Lake County Home Health Agency service. Dr. Murray stated that the major factors to be considered in selecting a sponsor for this program would be the ability to provide the necessary money to initiate the program; the financial capability to back any deficit the agency might experience; and to qualify for the use of the Title I Public Service funds. According to Dr. Murray, Waterman Memorial Hospital can meet the necessary requirements, and its Board of Trustees is in favor of becoming the sponsoring agency for this program.

On a motion by Commr. Windram, seconded by Commr. Carson and carried unanimously by those present, the Board approved Waterman Memorial Hospital to act as the sponsoring agency for the proposed Lake County Home Health Agency service, and the Title I Public Service funds, designated for the Home Health Agency will be allotted to the Hospital for use in this program.
