The Lake County Board of County Commissioners convened in Special Session on Thursday, November 16, 1978, at 3:30 P.M., in the Board of County Commissioners’ Meeting Room, Courthouse, Tavares, Florida.  Present were:  Commissioners James R. Carson, Jr., Chairman; C.A. “Lex” Deems; and Thomas J. Windram.  Others present were:  Christopher C. Ford, County Attorney; and Jennifer Kennedy, Deputy Clerk.

Commr. Carson opened the meeting explaining it was necessary to call a Special Meeting to approve the new commission bonds for Commrs. Windram, Deems, and Commr.-Elect Middleton.

Upon the advice of the County Attorney, Commr. Deems moved the appropriate signatures of all the commissioners be authorized for the timely filing of these bonds. This motion was seconded by Commr. The question was called for; the motion carried unanimously.

Having attended to the purpose of the Special Meeting, the Board adjourned at 3:35 P.M.
