PETITION 1985-192 Werner Husmann

No one was present to discuss the petition with the Board.

Mr. Jim Loflin, Property Appraiser's Office, appeared before the Board to discuss the nine acres of property owned by Dr. Husmann. He stated that six acres are marsh land and three acres are high ground. He further stated that it is zoned agricultural and used to be a small grove purchased in 1984, in the amount of $17,000.00. Therefore, it is the feeling of the Property's Appraiser's Office that the assessment in the amount of $9,120.00 is justifiable.

Discussion occurred regarding the location of the property. It was noted that Dr. Husmann failed to file for the agricultural classification.

On a motion by Commr. Smoak, seconded by Mrs. Phillips and carried unanimously, the Board upheld the recommendation of the Property Appraiser and approved the assessment in the amount of $9,120.00.
