CONTRACTS LEASES AND AGREEMENTS/LANDFILLS

Mr. Dan Robuck, Attorney representing NRG/LGM, appeared before the Board to request a continuance to the present contract with NRG/LGM, due to problems involving financing. He stated that he had been asked to make a request for a continuance until the first of the year.

The Board discussed the previous extensions of the original contract.

Mr. Chris Ford, County Attorney, stated that, if an extension was allowed for an additional 90 days, the bank might come back with completely different conditions. Therefore, Mr. Ford presented Addendum VII to the NRG-Lake County Contract, extending the time for commencing of the construction to 12:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 2, 1987.

On a motion by Commr. Carson, seconded by Commr. Burhans and carried unanimously, the Board approved the extension, as indicated in Addendum VII, as presented by the County Attorney.

There being no further business to be brought to the attention of the Board, the meeting adjourned at 2:15 p.m.
