PROPERTY APPRAISAL ADJUSTMENT BOARD MEETING

OCTOBER 4, 1988

The Property Appraisal Adjustment Board met on Tuesday, October 4, 1988, at 9:00 a.m. in the Board of County Commissioner's Meeting Room, Lake County Courthouse, Tavares, Florida. Members present at the meeting were: Commr . Glenn C. Burhans, Chairman; Commr. Thomas J. Windram; Commr. Don Bailey; and Ray Newman, Lake County School Board. Others present were: Ed Havill, Property Appraiser; and Linda Springston, Deputy Clerk.

PROPERTY APPRAISER - PETITIONS

PETITION 1988-182 Citrus Sun Club Condominium Assoc., Inc.

Mr. Havill stated that at the September 26, 1988, Property Appraisal Adjustment Board meeting, the Board postponed this Petition and directed his office to reassess the Tangible Tax. He further stated that his office has reduced the assessment, in the amount of $40,560.00, for the Tangible Tax, and recommended approval.

On a motion by Commr. Bailey, seconded by Mr. Ray Newman and carried unanimously, the Board approved the reduction of the Tangible Tax assessment, in the amount of $40,560.00, as recommended by the Property Appraiser.

PETITION 1988-183 Citrus Sun Club Condominium Assoc., Inc.

Mr. Havill stated that at the September 26, 1988, Property Appraisal Adjustment Board meeting, the Board also postponed this Petition and directed his office to reassess the Real Estate Tax. He further stated that his office has reduced the assessment, in the amount of $1,552,440.00, for the Real Estate Tax, and recommended approval.

On a motion by Mr. Ray Newman, seconded by Commr. Bailey and carried unanimously, the Board approved the reduction of the Real Estate Tax assessment, in the amount of $1,552,440.00, as recommended by the Property Appraiser.

MINUTES

On a motion by Commr. Bailey, seconded by Commr. Windram and carried unanimously, the Board approved the Property Appraisal Adjustment Board Minutes of September 26, 1988, as presented.

There being no further business to be brought to the attention of the Board, the meeting adjourned at 9:10 a.m.
