VALUE ADJUSTMENT BOARD
JANUARY 14, 1992
The Value Adjustment Board met on Tuesday, January 14, 1992 at 8:45 p.m., in the Board of County Commissioner's Meeting Room, Lake County Courthouse, Tavares, Florida. Commissioners present at the meeting were: Michael J. Bakich, Chairman; Richard Swartz; Don Bailey, and Catherine Hanson. School Board members present were: Phyllis C. Patten and Tim Sullivan. Others present were: Annette Star Lustgarten, County Attorney; Ed Havill, Property Appraiser; and Marlene S. Foran, Deputy Clerk.
MINUTES
Discussion occurred regarding the Minutes of October 2, 1991, with Commr. Swartz requesting that Petition #1991-556, Rick Deardorff, be reconsidered.
On a motion by Commr. Swartz, seconded by Commr. Hanson and carried unanimously, the Board moved to reconsider Petition #1991‑556, Rick Deardorff.
On a motion by Commr. Swartz, seconded by Mr. Sullivan and carried unanimously, the Board approved the application for homestead for Petition 1991-556, Rick Deardorff.
On a motion by Ms. Patten, seconded by Mr. Sullivan and carried, the Board moved to delete language, on page 13, line 3 and line 4, in its entirety, which states: Ms. Hart stated that...,honest people."
Commr. Swartz voted "No".
Mr. Ed Havill, Property Appraiser, requested that the referral to "Green Belt Exemption" be changed to "Agricultural Classification" in all Value Adjustment Board Minutes.
On a motion by Commr. Hanson, seconded by Ms. Patten and carried unanimously, the Board moved to change all referral to "Green Belt Exemption" to "Agricultural Classification".
On a motion by Commr. Swartz, seconded by Commr. Hanson and carried unanimously, the Board approved the Minutes of October 2, 1991, as amended.
On a motion by Commr. Hanson, seconded by Commr. Bailey and carried unanimously, the Board approved the Minutes of October 16, 1991, as presented.
There being no further business to be brought to the attention of the Value Adjustment Board, the meeting adjourned at 9:00 a.m.
