SPECIAL LAKE COUNTY VALUE ADJUSTMENT BOARD MEETING

OCTOBER 14, 1992

The Lake County Value Adjustment Board met in special session on Wednesday, October 14, 1992, at 9:00 a.m., in the Board of County Commissioner's Conference Room, Lake County Courthouse, Tavares, Florida. Commissioners present at the meeting were: Don Bailey and Catherine Hanson. School Board members present were: Phyllis Patton and Pat Hart. Others present were: Annette Star Lustgarten, County Attorney; Ed Havill, Lake County Property Appraiser; and Sandra Carter, Deputy Clerk.

Commr. Bailey, acting as Chairman, opened the meeting.

Ms. Annette Star Lustgarten, County Attorney, informed the Board that the purpose of this meeting was to approve the Certified Tax Roll and by doing so they would need to sign three documents, the first being a summary of the tax impact achieved from action taken by the Value Adjustment Board this year; the second indicating real estate in Lake County, totaling $3,625,091,274, that was reduced in value from the July 1, 1992 tax roll by $3.9 million; and the third indicating tangible personal property, totaling $649,780,932, with no reductions being made.

On a motion by Commr. Hanson, seconded by Ms. Patton and carried unanimously, the Board approved the Certified Tax Roll for Lake County for 1992, and authorized proper signatures on same.

There being no further business to be brought to the attention of the Value Adjustment Board, the meeting was adjourned at

9:10 a.m.
