Mr. Howell Hopson appeared with reference to heat in the Courthouse while the building is being remodeled. Mr. Hopson said he has  checked with Val Rich and Harper Plumbing and it will be thirty days before the new boiler can be installed and suggested that some provision be made for heat.

Clerk Owens reported he had contacted the gas companies and the natural gas people had been here yesterday and made a survey of the building. They called back during the afternoon and advised that 18 units would be required at a cost of $800.00 less 25 percent discount, or a total of $600.00, with an approximate installation cost of $600.00. Commr. Livingston said this is expensive for such a short time. The Board concurring, Mr. Hopson was instructed to contact the electrical engineer with reference to installing electric heaters.
