MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
MONDAY – may 18, 1964
The Board of County Commissioners met in special session in the Clerk’s Office in the Courthouse at Tavares on Monday, May 18, 1964, at 10:00 o’clock A.M. for the purpose of executing agreement with the State Road Department for advancement of necessary funds to be used for the acquisition of rights of way for State Road 25.
Resolution Authorizing an Agreement with the State Road Department to
Advance Primary Funds to the County Secondary Fund
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Lake County, Florida does desire to enter into an agreement with the State Road Department of Florida for the advancement of Primary fund to the County Secondary fund, in accordance with requirements of Section 339.10, Florida Statutes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Lake County, Florida, does hereby authorize the Chairman or Vice Chairman of said Board and the Clerk of said Board to enter into a formal agreement with the State Road Department of Florida, by and through its State Road Board, in accordance with Section 339.10, Florida Statutes, to advance the County Secondary Fund necessary sums not to exceed $400,000.00 from the State Road Department Primary fund to meet the excess cost of Project designated as Job No. 11010-2501 in the County Secondary Fund.
The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner Herman T. Dykes who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Commissioner J. C. Cowart, and upon being put to a vote, it was approved.
There being no further business to bring before the Board, the meeting adjourned.
