MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
FRIDAY – AUGUST 4, 1967
A special meeting of the Board County Commissioners of Lake County, Florida, was held on Friday, August 4, 1967, in the Commissioners’ Room in the Courthouse, Tavares, Florida for the purpose of hearing requests and complaints from the public regarding the budget for the 1967-68 Fiscal Year.
Mr. Emmett Hill, Smiley Merry, Sam Shaw and Mrs. Selma Pierce appeared before the Board and expressed appreciation for the consideration given to the Lake County Chamber of Commerce in the budget and invited the Board members to attend the Chamber meeting to be held on August 17.
On motion of Commr. Theus seconded by Commr. Babb and unanimously carried, the budget was tentatively adopted and the Clerk was authorized to transmit same to the Comptroller for approval.
There being no further business to bring before the Board, the meeting adjourned.
