MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

 monday – february 22, 1971

A special meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of Lake County, Florida, was held in the Commissioners’ Room, in the Courthouse, Tavares, Florida, on Monday, February 22, 1971, at 10:00 o’clock in the forenoon for the purpose of discussing the County’s road problems with a representative from the State Department of Transportation, and any other business which may be brought before the Board.

The meeting was called to order by the Chairman with the following members in attendance:  J. M. Hoskinson, Chairman; James R. Carson, Jr., C. A. Deems, Thomas J. Windram and Kenneth VanAuken.  Deputy Clerk Norma H. Coven was also present.

On motion of Commr. Carson, seconded by Commr. Deems and carried, the Board approved payment of $6,895.00 to the Department of Community Affairs, in accordance with the terms of 701 Planning Assistance Contract No. P-121 G.

funds – transfer

At the request of the Clerk, the Board approved transfer of $6,895.00 from the Contingency Item in the General Revenue Fund to Account #67745-1, “Contracted Services – Department of Community Affairs.”

There being no further business to bring before the Board, the meeting adjourned.
