A special MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
july 17, 1975
The Lake County Board of County Commissioners convened in special session on Thursday, July 17, 1975, at 3:30 p.m., in the Commissionersí Room, Courthouse, Tavares, Florida.† Present were:† J. M. Hoskinson, Chairman; Thomas J. Windram; C.A. Deems; Glenn C. Burhans; and James R. Carson, Jr. †Others present were: James C. Watkins, Clerk; Doris Babb, Deputy-in-Charge of the Finance Department; and Pat Halstead, Deputy Clerk.
On a motion by Commr. Carson, seconded by Commr. Windram and carried unanimously, the Board approved payment in the amount of $5,000 for the purpose of paying State Trial Witnesses, Insolvent Defense Witnesses, and Special Court Order Witnesses.† Three thousand being issued this date and the balance upon request.
On a motion by Commr. Deems, seconded by Commr. Carson and carried unanimously, the Board approved for the residue of the funds in the amount of $1,129.87 from Lake County Grant #74-AS-06-008 to the Youth Programs Operation Action Grant #74-AS-06-0022 as recommended and requested by Col. Eugene Minietta.
On a motion by Commr. Carson, seconded by Commr. Deems and carried unanimously, the Board authorized the Chairman to sign the Actual Use Report for Revenue Sharing Funds from the period of July 1, 1974 to June 30, 1975.
There being no further business to be brought before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 3:45 p.m.
