SPECIAL BUDGET MEETING
JULY 14, 1978
The Lake County Board of County Commissioners convened in Special Budget Meeting on Tuesday, July 14, 1978, at 9:18 a.m. in the Board of County Commissioners’ Conference Room, Courthouse, Tavares, Florida. Present were: James R. Carson, Jr., Chairman; Commissioners Thomas J. Windram; C.A. “Lex” Deems; J.M. Hoskinson; and Glenn C. Burhans. Others present were: James C. Watkins, Clerk; Evan Porter, Personnel Director; Donald Smalt, Deputy in Charge of Finance; and Sherry Puckett, Deputy Clerk.
Discussion was held regarding salary figures.
Commr. Carson adjourned for lunch at 11:50 a.m.. The Board reconvened at 1:05 p.m.
The following Department salary totals were approved:

On a motion by Commr. Windram, seconded by Commr. Hoskinson and carried unanimously, the Finance Department was instructed to accumulate totals from all Budget Sessions regarding expenses and income and bring these figures before the Board at a later date for approval.
There being no further business, the Board adjourned at 3:30 p.m.
