A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

AUGUST 18, 1980

The Lake County Board of County Commissioners convened in Special Session on Monday, August 18, 1980, at 9:05 A.M. in the Board of County Commissioners' Meeting Room, Courthouse, Tavares, Florida. Commissioners present were: C. A. "Lex" Deems, Chairman; Thomas J. Windram; Glenn Y. Middleton; and Glenn C. Burhans. Others present were: James C. Watkins, Clerk; Sanford Minkoff, County Attorney's Office; Harold Koppel, Finance Director; and Mary Grover.

BONDS

Discussion occurred regarding the Industrial Revenue Bonds. Mr . Sanford Minkoff, County Attorney's Office, informed the Board Mr. Chris Ford, County Attorney, had spoken with Mr. John Vodenicker, May, Zima & Company, and with the Representative of the Bond Company. He further stated Mr. Vodenicker felt the feasibility study was not important as it was a private placement buying the bonds. Mr. Minkoff answered the questions raised at the Board Meeting of August 12, 1980, regarding the memorandum received from May, Zima & Company. Discussion occurred.

There being no further business to be brought to the attention of the Board, the meeting adjourned at 9:22 A.M.
