The Lake County Board of County Commissioners met in special session on Thursday, June 25, 1998, at 5:30 p.m., in the Administrative Building of the Lake County Boys Ranch, Altoona, Florida. Commissioners present at the meeting were: G. Richard Swartz, Jr., Chairman; G. Welton Cadwell, Vice Chairman; William "Bill" H. Good; and Rhonda H. Gerber. Commissioners not present were: Catherine C. Hanson. Others present were: Alvin Jackson, Jr., Deputy County Manager; Ava Kronz, Director of Continuous Quality Improvements; Wendy Taylor, Administrative Assistant; and Toni M. Riggs, Deputy Clerk.

It was noted that Florida Hospital Waterman and the Lake County Boys Ranch were sponsoring a Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event to honor the Board of County Commissioners, and there were approximately 75 people present.

Mr. Tom Manning, President of the Lake County Boys Ranch, welcomed those who were in attendance and introduced Ms. Carrie Fish, Vice President, Support Services, Florida Hospital Waterman. Ms. Fish introduced each of the Commissioners and extended her appreciation to those who were able to attend the event.

There being no business to be brought to the attention of the Board, the meeting adjourned at 7 p.m.
