County Finance

The County Finance Department is made up of three divisions providing financial and accounting services to various Lake County Government agencies.

  • Board Accounting division provides financial and accounting services to the Board of County Commissioners, County Manager and Department Directors.
  • Board Support division provides/produces accurate, concise minutes of the Board of County Commissioners' meetings and related committees
  • Clerk Finance division provides all accounting functions, i.e., payables, receivables, payroll, investments and maintenance, for the Clerk.

The Lake County Clerk's Office was recently awarded the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada for its Fiscal Year 2021 budget. This is the 29th year that the Clerk’s Office has received the award. Learn more --->
