Board Accounting
The Board Accounting division maintains books and accounts for the Board of County Commissioners and other related entities in accordance with generally accepted governmental accounting principles and in compliance with statutory requirements. Other related entities include the Supervisor of Elections, Lake-Sumter Metropolitan Planning Organization, and the Lake County Water Authority. The division ensures that the financial statements of the Board and certain related entities are audited annually, provides cash management services, and monitors debt service requirements and compliance with bond covenants.
