Information about eCertified Copies
Before purchasing, verify the entity receiving the document accepts electronically certified documents.
To purchase an eCertified document online, the document must be viewable on the website. Florida law restricts some documents from being viewable on our website, which makes them ineligible to be eCertified online.
If the entity receiving the document does not accept electronic certifications or the required document is not available for viewing on the website, you may obtain a manually stamped certified copy by mailing your payment with the Official Records Order Form or by visiting one of our two locations:
- Lake County Courthouse
550 W. Main Street, Tavares, FL (North Wing, 3rd floor)
Free parking is located in the garage at 200 N. Sinclair Ave.
- Lake County Records Storage Facility
313 Bloxham Ave., Tavares, FL
Uncertified copies of Official Records are free to view online through the Official Records Search.

You will also receive an email with the payment receipt from the payment processor.
