Small Claims

• How do I file a Small Claims case?
  

  You may obtain the forms for filing a claim from the Clerk's office or via our web site. Small claims forms are available on the Small Claims Courts page or via the Documents and Forms page. You may also choose to pick up the forms packet in person or you may have it mailed to you. There is a small fee for the prepared forms packet. There is an instruction sheet attached with information on the filing process and the associated filing fees.
  
   

• How do I collect my money after receiving a judgment in Small Claims?
  

  Methods which may be used to collect on the judgment are: 1) recording the judgment; 2) levying on property; and 3) garnishing bank accounts or wages.
